Overview
Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking an Overnight Clinical Manager to oversee the Detox and Crisis staff. The Overnight Clinical Manager provides oversight of all clinical teams and staff in the Victor St. building, Detox Recovery, Walk-in Crisis, and the Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Clinical Manager collaborates with Program Managers and the Division Director to coordinate initial and ongoing trainings for overnight crisis and detox staff, onboards new staff within the assigned team, and oversees new skill development for clinical tasks and shares skill training opportunities with other staff.
The Clinical Manager will support and motivate staff on the overnight shift to complete designated tasks and will provide direction to department staff whenever needed.
$7,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! + an additional 12% of base pay stipend for Clinical Managers working in a 24/7 program
* Sign-on Bonus not eligible for internal employees and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation. Sign-on Bonus is based on full-time (40 hours/week). Prorated if fewer than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on the first paycheck, 50% on the paycheck following the 6-month anniversary.
Schedule. This position is Fully In-person/On-site. Overnight shifts with some flexibility, either 8:30 pm - 7:00 am 4 nights per week, or 10:00 pm to 6:00 am 5 nights per week
SalarySalary is based on 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on experience and company equity.
- Licensed Psychologist: $ - $ per year
- Licensed Therapist: $79,809.60 - $ per year
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. rate depends on language requirements for the position and the candidate's fluency.
- Employees will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis, equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), with a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. The annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full-time equivalency (FTE).
- Manager Accountabilities:
Lead employees, maintaining team focus and direction. Hire, provide performance feedback and coaching, and fire employees in accordance with organization guidance. Monitor work schedules and receive and approve requests for time off based on work volumes and staffing schedules. Communicate with external stakeholders related to team accountability. Cascade information from sr. leadership to lower levels in alignment with organization strategy and goals.
Design and implement effective group and intergroup work and communication expectations. Define and monitor group-level performance indicators. Diagnose and resolve problems within and among work groups. - Arrange appropriate training of staff to improve clinical skills, including providing clinical supervision to therapists, and other team members as appropriate.
- Work cooperatively with all staff to provide a comprehensive range of services and ensure the smooth transition of clients from one service to another, including handling referrals and assignment of cases to therapists.
- Handle complaints from clients and community agencies efficiently and satisfactorily.
- Develop new services to meet unmet or underserved needs in the community.
- Ensure that clinical and fiscal paperwork and online clinical records are correctly and promptly completed.
- Interact with community agencies to improve services to clients and enhance the organization's image as a competent provider of mental health services and a committed and caring member of the community.
- Advocate for the organization's services in the community and at the state level, as appropriate.
- Ensure that revenues to pay for services are documented and billable by the business office and that the funding source is known to the billing office.
- Understand and adhere to budget for program.
- Staff member will complete needed care coordination tasks for their assigned role.
- Master s or Doctoral degree in a license-eligible field.
- Licensure:
Current Colorado licensure required:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist (PhD or PsyD). Licensure from another state is acceptable if the candidate is in the process of obtaining Colorado licensure and will receive it within six months of hire. - Three years of experience working with the population served by the clinical area of responsibility, including administrative experience in a behavioral health setting.
