Position Type: Full Time: FTE 1.
Education Level: Master's Degree.
Salary Range: $35.18 - $62.74 Hourly.
Sign‑On Bonus: $7,000. (Not eligible for internal or re‑hired employees within 90 days of separation.)
Bonus is paid to full‑time (40 hours/week) employees, prorated for fewer hours. Paid in two installments: 50% on the first paycheck, 50% on the paycheck following the 6‑month anniversary.
Job SummaryAurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) seeks a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead the Detox team at our Victor Street location. This pivotal role provides clinical and administrative oversight for Detox Recovery, supporting a 24x7 staff including Shift Coordinators, Addiction Technicians/Specialists, and Van Drivers. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, trauma‑informed care expertise, and a passion for substance use treatment to help launch an innovative, evidence‑based program.
Candidates must hold a clinical license—LAC preferred, or LPC, LCSW, LMFT. If not licensed as an LAC, a CAS or CAT is required.
- Onboard and train new staff.
- Coordinate skill development and training for the team.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and Division Directors to ensure high‑quality care and operational excellence.
- Lead daily staff supervision and performance feedback.
- Serve as the overnight supervisor and liaison between managers during daytime hours and overnight staff.
- Supervise clinical operations and assist with setting program policy and procedures.
- Build and maintain cohesive, supportive relations among staff.
- Step into all roles (except van driver) to support, move along, or supplement processes on all three detox and crisis teams.
- Work with crisis services manager 2/3 of the time and detox services manager 1/3 of the time.
- Review process and outcome data quarterly and provide training to address clinical areas of need.
- Supervise data entry by overnight staff and conduct chart reviews.
- Build relationships and collaborate with local non‑profit agencies, public social services, and state policymakers.
- Support two Program Managers with requested tasks.
- Supervise admission and intake evaluations of WIC and detox clients during shift hours.
- Complete documentation within 24 hours of client contact.
- Attend supervision with crisis manager twice monthly and with detox manager monthly.
- Provide group supervision to overnight staff (crisis therapists, shift coordinators) twice monthly.
- Provide individual supervision to crisis therapists twice monthly.
- Host team meetings for crisis overnight staff twice a month and for detox staff monthly.
- Oversee WIC, CSU, and Detox operations, including client care and staff productivity.
- Co‑ordinate with medical staff nightly and maintain regular meetings with nursing manager.
This position is fully onsite and follows a 4x10‑hour shift schedule, working Sunday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. One day per week, the Clinical Supervisor will adjust their schedule—either arriving early or staying late—to allow overlap with the overnight shift and support continuity of care.
Pay StructureBase Wage:
- Licensed Therapist: $35.18 - $48.13 per hour.
- Licensed Psychologist: $52.62 - $62.74 per hour.
Shift Differential Pay:
- Day Weekend (Sat, Sun): $2.50/hour.
- Swing Weekday (Mon‑Thu): $2.75/hour.
- Swing Weekend (Fri‑Sun): $3.25/hour.
- Overnight Weekday (Mon‑Thu): $4.00/hour.
- Overnight Weekend (Fri‑Sun): $5.00/hour.
Bilingual Differential Pay: Rate depends on language requirements for the position and the candidate's fluency.
Employees receive scheduled earnings bi‑weekly, equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), with a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. The annual maximum amount is prorated based on full‑time equivalency (FTE).
Qualifications- Licensed mental health clinician with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
