Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Part Time

Astro ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Aurora, CO. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral therapies to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduction of problem behaviors
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company initiatives
Requirements
  • Must be a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred
  • No experience in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) or related field needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
