Overview
Echocardiography technicians function proficiently in all aspects of a tertiary medical center Cardiac Echo Laboratory.
Responsibilities- Performance of inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms.
- Use of echo cardiographic contrast.
- Training cardiology Fellows in echocardiography skills.
- Assisting with echo cardiographic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab.
- Assistance with 3D transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
- Occasional travel to VA Colorado Springs clinic to perform echocardiograms.
