Position Overview: Our Clinicians work with professionals in counseling, social work, occupational therapy, etc. They provide individualized interventions, collaborate with treatment teams, and continually learn via a clinical supervision model.
Responsibilities- Providing therapy to adults with I/DD involved in Medicaid Waiver services.
- Conducting assessments and formulating individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans for services in homes and community settings.
- Consulting with and training parents and host‑home providers on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs.
- Working with treatment team members and case managers; on‑call telephone support for crisis and emergency situations during normal work hours.
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology.
- Two years’ experience working directly with a clinical population or related experience under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician.
- Valid Colorado State issued driver’s license.
- Background screening required prior to employment.
- Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado, or Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, consumers, guardians, families, and the public.
- Ability to solve practical and complex problems, critically reason through variable situations with limited standardization.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Prioritize work needs to manage time effectively.
The work environment varies between office and community locations, including host homes and day programs. Personal vehicle required to monitor and coordinate care.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Frequently required to drive. Occasionally must lift or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
ScheduleAfter completing a new hire orientation class; hours approximately 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday–Thursday.
