40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days
- The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout the process.
- Operate specialized imaging equipment, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain documentation, assist with inventory management, and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital safety guidelines; comply with regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and English communication
- Ability to read and follow instructions; PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary and move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Effective collaboration with a variety of personnel
- Technical/motor skills for procedures and equipment operation
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to irregular schedules
- Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
