• The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout the process.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain documentation, assist with inventory management, and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital safety guidelines; comply with regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and English communication
• Ability to read and follow instructions; PC skills
• Physical ability to remain stationary and move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Effective collaboration with a variety of personnel
• Technical/motor skills for procedures and equipment operation
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to irregular schedules
• Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
