Critical Care/Emergency Medicine Flex/PRN Clinical Pharmacist

Location:

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO

Department:
Pharmacy Inpatient

Work Schedule:

PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Day and Evening Rotation

Pay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Coordinates and provides comprehensive medication management to optimize medication use for critical care/emergency medicine patients.

The Flex/PRN clinical pharmacist coordinates and provides pharmaceutical care to adult critical care patients and emergency medicine patients. The flex/PRN pharmacist will be expected to work 16 hours per month and can work shifts 7 days a week, including day, evening, overnight, and weekends. If there is a need, the flex/PRN pharmacist may be included in the ICU or EM weekend and holiday rotations.

Experience with in the following critical care areas is preferred:
Burn, Cardiothoracic ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Medical ICU, Neuro/Neurosurgical ICU, and Surgical/Trauma ICU. Experience in emergency medicine also preferred.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
  • State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
Preferred
  • Completion of a PGY2 critical care residency, PGY2 Emergency Medicine residency, or PGY1 pharmacy practice residency with critical care experience are preferred.
