Senior Helpers, a leading provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Personal Caregiver for our Denver franchise. This position will primarily assist clients with their personal care needs and provide companionship to improve their overall quality of life.

Job Summary

Senior Helpers - Denver is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our fantastic team in a new role as a Part-time Caregiver with variable hours. As a Personal Caregiver, you ll provide essential non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes. Your role will involve helping with daily tasks and activities, ensuring our clients  safety, and promoting their independence while respecting their dignity. This part-time role offers flexibility with the potential for additional hours as needed. It s a wonderful opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Communicate with clients  families to provide updates on their loved one s well-being
  • Report any changes in clients  health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Must have a valid driver s license and reliable transportation. Must show proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Must be available at least 12 to 20 hours per week between 9 am & 6:00 pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Monthly training to ensure high standards and best practices for our clients
  • Previous experience in a caregiving/related role will be preferred
