Pay: $42.01 - $58.82 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

SUMMARY:

- Unique opportunity to join the #1 Hospital and only academic medical center in the state of Colorado.
- The UCH Echocardiography Laboratory maintains accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in adult transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.
- Enormously fulfilling career with growth opportunity, including, but not limited to teaching junior cardiac sonographers and general cardiology fellows, participating in research projects, giving presentations at the biweekly echo conference.
- Participate in teaching, research, and echo conferences.
- Work in a supportive, fast-paced academic environment with balanced workload.

Minimum Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR associate's degree in allied health OR Bachelor's degree in any area.
- Required

Licensure/Certification :
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

- Minimum Experience:

None Required. 1 year preferred.
- Credentials:
Registered Sonographer, Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
