Ok privileges and expectations for Radiology Technologist Responsibilities- Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice as stated in Next Care Policies and Procedures and the relevant state radiation rules and regulations.
- Assists the provider with exams (including patient vitals), procedures and other direct patient‑care processes under the direct supervision of the provider and within the scope of practice of a medical assistant.
- Administers all forms of medication per policy and provider direction, adhering to all safety protocols.
- May be responsible for urine collection for various tests, including employer drug screens.
- May perform splinting and casting.
- Conducts various types of physicals, such as sports physicals.
- Performs other related duties such as wound care and oxygen administration.
- Notifies the on‑duty provider promptly of all unusual patient occurrences via incident reports.
- Notifies the clinic manager of patient orγού employee safety concerns.
- Follows laboratory and clinical accreditation guidelines and requirements.
- Must be proficient in EMR/EHR.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or described by company policy.
The Radiology Technologist enhances the organization through outstanding customer service and by treating all patients with respect and dignity. They provide essential patient‑care services in the back‑office urgent‑care setting, meeting the specific needs of each patient.
Essential Education, Experience and SkillsEducation: Minimum of high‑school diploma or equivalent; <

AND diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience.
License: Current state radiology certification or national radiology license.
Certification: Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by the American Heart Committee, American Red Cross, or an equivalent organization.
