MFM Sonographer

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent diagnostic ultrasound examinations on high‑risk obstetrical patients who will be subsequently evaluated and treated by a Maternal Fetal Medicine attending physician.
  • Prepare preliminary reports for physician review, verifying data obtained from the ultrasound.
  • Review and triage referrals alongside schedulers and MFM providers to determine urgency in scheduling.
Work Location

Onsite (Denver Metro area and Fort Collins)

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • 2 years of OB ultrasound technician experience.
  • Fetal Echo Certified or candidate willing and able to obtain a valid and current Fetal Echocardiogram certification within 12‑16 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and training in Maternal Fetal Medicine‑level ultrasound scans.
  • Experience working with ViewPoint ultrasound reporting system.
  • Nuchal translucency certification.
  • CLEAR certification.
  • Bilingual, Spanish‑speaking.
  • Computer skills: basic keyboarding, MS Office, EPIC.
