Job Summary / Responsibilities- Provide integrated behavioral health services across medical ambulatory clinics, multidisciplinary clinics, hospital inpatient settings, and/or primary care settings throughout the Children s Hospital Colorado system and affiliated care sites.
- Consult with pediatric medical teams regarding behavioral health and environmental factors impacting child well-being, including adherence, adjustment to medical diagnosis and treatment, mental health, behavioral, developmental, and family factors.
- Collaborate with medical teams, allied health professionals, social work, family navigators, and community health liaisons to deliver comprehensive, team-based care.
- Use evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches for children and adolescents with a wide range of medical, behavioral, developmental, and mental health concerns.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating integrated behavioral health programming in healthcare settings.
- Engage in teaching, supervision, and scholarship, including collaboration on grants and contracts with hospital and community partners.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related (clinical/research) experience at rank or equivalent.
- Minimum degree qualifications:
PhD and/or PsyD
- Demonstrated skills in developmentally appropriate screening and assessment tools.
- Demonstrated skills using evidence-based treatment models (e.g., motivational interviewing, consultation models) and flexible application of behavioral and developmental interventions.
- 1-3 years of supervising psychology trainees.
- Experience consulting with professional colleagues and healthcare staff.
- Ability to deliver services in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Clinical skill for brief and targeted assessments and consultations in integrated healthcare settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team across diverse clinical settings.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with excellent written and verbal communication for clinical, teaching, supervision, and community education.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an organized workflow.
- Experience supervising psychology trainees and supporting professional development.
- Experience with diverse pediatric populations.
