Join Aurora Mental Health & Recovery as a dynamic School-Based Float Therapist to support K-12 students and families across Cherry Creek Schools and local charter schools.

About the Role

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a dynamic School-Based Float Therapist to join our dedicated team supporting K-12 students and families across Cherry Creek Schools and local charter schools. This unique role offers variety and impact, including conducting intake assessments for schools with high referral rates, providing short-term coverage when schools lack an assigned therapist, and facilitating wellness groups for students and parents.

Candidates may carry a small caseload and collaborate closely with school mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care. We welcome Master’s-level clinicians (MA in Counseling, LSW, LPCC, MFT), Licensed Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), or Psychologists (licensed or unlicensed) with experience in trauma treatment, school-based settings, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. If you are highly organized, assertive, and thrive in building relationships in new environments, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference while enjoying school calendar breaks!

Schedule

The Therapist will work school hours Monday – Friday, fully onsite/in-person, working 10 months during the school year, which is paid over 12 months. Paid time off during all school breaks (fall, winter, spring, and summer – including the entire month of July off).
