Term Limited:

- Perform budget-to-actual analysis for GME cost centers, including resident and fellow salaries, benefits, and program operating expenses.
- Utilize university financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., A2E, finance dashboards) to extract, analyze, and validate financial data.
- Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports for GME leadership, including variance explanations and trend analysis.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models related to trainee funding, affiliate support, and program costs.
- Use Excel and other data tools for data cleansing, manipulation, visualization, and interpretation.
- Prepare and submit journal entries, payroll reallocations, and funding adjustments to ensure accurate expense reporting using the university's People Soft HCM and FIN system.
- Assist with monthly and fiscal year-end reconciliations for assigned GME accounts and speed types.
- Support accruals, cost transfers, and corrections in coordination with School of Medicine Finance.
- Ensure compliance with university fiscal policies and deadlines.
- Assist with financial tracking and reconciliation of GME affiliate payments, including hospital and site support for resident and fellow funding.
- Support invoicing, accounts receivable, and payment tracking related to GME agreements.
- Partner with GME staff to validate funding sources for trainees and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Respond to financial inquiries from program leadership with accurate and timely information.
- Provide support for special projects, audits, accreditation-related financial requests, or data pulls as needed.
- Assist with documentation, process improvement, and workflow standardization within OME business operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
- Two (2) years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or financial analytics.
- Demonstrated advanced analytic skills including prior experience with Excel, using pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
- Experience working in higher education, academic medicine, or a healthcare environment.
- Experience supporting Graduate Medical Education, academic programs, or grant‑or‑fund‑based financial operations.
- Demonstrated advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
- Experience working with complex funding structures and multiple stakeholders.
