The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Engineering Technician NJ-0802-03 to work at Buckley Space Force Base, CO.
In this position, you will serve as a Geospatial information specialist with the responsibility for overall geospatial management and maintenance of geospatial information.

- Salary Range $52,727 - $82,938 (does not include locality pay) – Position not eligible for telework – Up to 25% travel possible

- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- The work is sedentary. Occasional physical activity is required including walking or bending in the collection of data for facilities engineering or the staging of computer equipment.
- The employee shall be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Position will require outdoor fieldwork. The employee must meet physical requirements to perform this work.
- The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver’s license may be required for the position.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- Serves as a Geospatial information specialist with the responsibility for overall geospatial management and maintenance of geospatial information
- Performs work related to the processes, practices, methods, and techniques involved in the construction of new or revision of existing maps, charts, and related cartographic products
- Performs surveying work to capture common installation pictures and mission date set geospatial data for inclusion into enterprise data systems.
- Provides training, material resources, and information security support
