We’re looking for a passionate, customer centric, entry-level Development Engineer to join our 3D Printing Team in Aurora, Colorado
.

As a Development Engineer, you’ll be responsible for new product development and design activities for 3D printed products and components from conceptualization through product release and production.

• Conceptualize, design, prototype, develop, test and launch new 3D printed luminaires, components and platforms
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring designs to life through additive manufacturing
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and help continually improve our design for additive manufacturing competencies across the organization
• Stay up-to-date on additive manufacturing trends and capabilities to bring new insights to the team
• Understand and communicate customer, technical and regulatory requirements

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design or other Engineering disciplines and 0-2 years of similar professional experience
• Working knowledge of 3-D modeling software for both solid and surface modelling applications (preferably Solid Works and Rhino)
• Experience in new product development process
• Affinity with Ideation Methods, Design Thinking, and Design for X(assembly, manufacturing, etc.), Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Familiarity with 3D printing technology and development is a plus

• Salary: $62,797.50 - $83,730.00 based on experience
• Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 5%
