Are you ready to take on a high‑impact role supporting a premier satellite ground system capture effort? We have an exciting opportunity for a System Readiness Integration Engineer
. In this role, you will plan and perform integration activities involving complex software and hardware subsystems, resolving any conflicts that arise. You will contribute to a sophisticated program by developing integration methods and techniques, writing procedures and test sequences, and preparing detailed reports. You’ll conduct tests using a comprehensive understanding of these subsystems, drawing on broad experience in integration engineering and related software and hardware principles to ensure test validity and integrity.
This work includes collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define language, database, and simulation requirements, as well as applying effective configuration‑management practices.
- Develop and execute integration sequences
- Identify technical issues during integration, collaborate with engineering teams to determine root causes, and drive them to closure
- Coordinate daily with internal and external stakeholders
- Work within an Agile program environment
- Work in a classified lab on‑site in Aurora, Colorado
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with one or more systems engineering principles and practices, such as requirements management, architecture and design, interface control, integration and verification, configuration management, or risk management.
- Keyboard integration engineering experience on a government software development contract
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution issues
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
