Job Summary

The position is located at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Hours will vary depending on clinical schedules, research, other duties, and Department/Hospital needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical duties at the faculty level for outpatient services with supervision of residents and medical students, supervision of patient procedures, and teaching of house staff and students.
  • Teaching activities, including leading teaching conferences and training medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Administrative responsibilities, including data entry into hospital systems, development of critical pathways, committee work, and projects aimed at improving the specialty and department mission. Non‑clinical time will be spent producing scholarship activities.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Onsite – the role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Assistant Professor
  • Board certified or eligible to be board certified before start date
  • Completed fellowship training in Movement Disorders
  • State of Colorado medical license and DEA license obtained by hire date
Associate Professor
  • Board certified or eligible to be board certified before start date
  • State of Colorado medical license and DEA license obtained by hire date
  • Completed fellowship training in Movement Disorders
  • Scholarly and academic record consistent with appointment at the Associate Professor level
Professor
  • Board certified or eligible to be board certified before start date
  • State of Colorado medical license and DEA license obtained by hire date
  • Completed fellowship training in a neurological specialty
  • Scholarly and academic record consistent with appointment at the Professor level
