Part Time Associate Director Global Health Track:

The Associate Director of the Medical Student Global Health Track at the University of Colorado School of Medicine will work collaboratively with the Global Health Track Director, SOM faculty, curriculum deans, course directors, and other SOM personnel to implement, evaluate, and continuously improve a longitudinal, four‑year Global Health Track aligned with the Trek medical student curriculum.
Responsibilities include leading a required first‑year Global Health course, overseeing mentored scholarly projects, contributing to curriculum redesign, and supporting faculty recruitment and student success. The role involves administration, curriculum execution, project oversight, quality improvement, and student assessment, with 20% dedicated to administration, 20% to curriculum execution and program innovation, 20% to scholarly project oversight, 20% to curriculum review and quality improvement, 10% to student assessment and support, and 10% to faculty support.

Qualifications- Hold a terminal degree (MD or DO) from an accredited university.
- Recent teaching or mentorship experience.
- Ability to obtain an instructor faculty appointment (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
- Preferred: experience in global health education, curriculum development, medical education scholarship, and global health research.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Deep understanding of clinical education models and medical education curricula.
- Ability to build relationships with faculty who inspire students and support lifelong learning.
