We have an exciting opportunity for an International Subcontract Manager who will be responsible for leading procurement activities associated with the Global Strategy and Supplier Development Team. This individual‑contributor role will oversee all procurement activities supporting the Raytheon business unit, working closely with external suppliers and internal customers across multiple Mission Areas. The role is results‑oriented, emphasizing international subcontracts, strategic decision‑making, customer satisfaction, program execution and transition to production.

What

You Will Do
  • Prepare and issue Request for Information/Quotations/Proposals for multiple suppliers in various international locations
  • Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations on price, delivery, scope, and terms & conditions
  • Place subcontracts/purchase orders/letter of subcontracts and associated change orders
  • Resolve medium/high complexity conflict in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials)
  • Adhere to and understand Export/Import/RGEMS requirements as necessary to support daily activities
  • Work closely with Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives
  • Nurture professional business relationships with first‑tier subcontractors
  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews
  • Coordinate procurement and shipment of supplies with internal teams
  • Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information
  • Lead related supply‑chain activities including SDRL oversight and tracking, SSOW reviews, International Transactional Due Diligence, and weekly supplier meetings
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 20%, primarily international travel
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations
  • Experience in a SAP/PRISM based environment
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service – including Statement of Work Review (SSOW)
  • Experience with Export/Import requirements and working with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, DFAR)
