Summary:
The Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a board-certified Nephrology physician scientist at the Assistant Professor level with training and interest in deciphering novel mechanisms of disease in lupus nephritis. Primary responsibilities include conducting impactful research in immune-complex disease and lupus nephritis, with clinical duties in inpatient, outpatient, and dialysis services. The candidate should have a record of scholarly productivity and mentorship.
The candidate will be recommended for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Direct mechanistic studies in immune-complex disease and lupus nephritis
- Publish original research findings
- Apply for continual grant funding
- 25-30% clinical effort on the inpatient, outpatient and dialysis services
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Have an MD, PhD, MD/PhD, DO, or international equivalent terminal degree
- A record of scholarly achievement
- Excellent communication skills to interface with learners, faculty, healthcare teams, administrators, and community organizations
- Expertise in clinical research

Pike
