Overview
This position offers a $4,500 bonus (includes a $1,500 New Hire Tool Bonus). At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we’re hiring an Automotive Tech II

Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm.

You’ll work as a mid-level auto tech performing medium-duty work.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Providing highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
- Diagnosing brake components, tires, suspension components, drivability, and completing repairs.
- Performing advanced diagnostics, including charging, starting, AC, OBDII, drivability, electrical systems and complete repairs.
- Completing mechanical inspections with required measurements, including engine and drive train components, under-hood inspection, and documenting deficiencies.
- Complying with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposal of trash.
- May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
- Using approved vendors to obtain parts.
- May be required to perform OEM recalls.
You’ve laid your foundation of skills and want to continue learning and advancing. You’re a born team player who motivates teammates. The following qualifications apply:
Required- 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
- Valid driver’s license; safe driving record required.
- Ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED.
- ASE A4–A8 preferred.
Hourly base pay rate is $24.23 – $36.35/hour. The rate may vary based on location and candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commissions or incentive programs.
Additional BenefitsEmployees are eligible for a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays per year. Additional paid time off may be available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
