• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage WIP schedules and percentage‑of‑completion accounting
• Oversee job costing, project tracking, and margin analysis
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain general ledger integrity
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to review project performance
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Mentor junior accounting staff as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience, with construction or engineering industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, or similar preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
