Operate a residential recycling/waste collection vehicle in a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manner on assigned routes. The Residential Driver is responsible for waste/recycling collection, vehicle safety inspections, and maintaining high service standards while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

* Key Responsibilities:

***** Safely operate a Manual Side-Load truck on assigned residential routes.
* Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete all required daily documentation
* Collect residential recycling and waste in accordance with route and safety standards
* Operate hydraulic and compaction systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage
* Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents immediately
* Maintain route productivity, service quality, and customer service standards
* Ensure compliance with all safety policies, PPE requirements, and traffic regulations
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional company representation
* Work collaboratively with Helpers and Supervisors to support efficient operations
* Perform other duties as assigned

* Key Requirements:

***** Valid Ontario DZ (or higher) driver’s licence with clean Abstract and CVOR
* Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (or accredited training)
* Ability to safely operate collection vehicles and hydraulic equipment
* Ability to meet safety-sensitive position requirements
* Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime/early start schedules
