Reporting to the Director of Client Experience, the Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth within the Government & Healthcare vertical. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering a consultative, solution-based sales experience.
You will execute vertical-specific market penetration strategies, build long-term client relationships, and manage opportunities from prospecting through close.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold outreach, marketing campaigns, and strategic account development
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and gross margin targets
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans
- Lead solution-based sales cycles ($50K–$250K+)
- Identify, pursue, and develop RFP opportunities
- Present to senior decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline activity in Salesforce
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Marketing, and leadership to drive performance
- Maintain high service levels for new and existing customers
- Respond to RFQs, delivery requests, and after-sales support within standard timelines
- Act as a subject matter expert on products, pricing, and program value
- Develop and execute strategic account penetration plans
- Contribute to sales planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Share market feedback and customer insights with internal teams
- Support a collaborative, high-performance sales culture
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation
- Prepare regular performance and revenue reports
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
- Education-post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or other related subject
- 3–6 years of B2B sales with consistent quota achievement
- Proven success selling into the Government & Healthcare vertical
- Experience managing solution-based sales cycles
- Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
- Consultative sales approach with strong closing ability
- Hunter mentality with the ability to grow existing accounts
- Excellent communication and C-suite presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and performance metric awareness
- Resilient and effective in long sales cycles
- Ability to lead multi-party meetings and presentations
- Experience with sustainability, recycling, or ESG initiatives
