Overview

Magna Golf Club, one of Canada s most exclusive private clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is currently looking for full-time EXPERIENCED SERVERS to join our amazing food and beverage team. Our club offers year-round dining and we are looking for yearlong candidates who can work both lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends.

• Ensure all sections are set and ready for service.
• Guide members through the menu, offering suggestions and highlighting specials that fit their preferences.
• Possess strong menu knowledge and the ability to modify the dishes based on preference and dietary restrictions.
• Anticipate member needs through member profiles and reservation lists.
• Create an unforgettable service experience and leave every member feeling valued and unique.
• Other duties as assigned and required by management.

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience serving in a golf club or high end restaurant.
• Be dedicated to a high level of service and professionalism.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Be a positive high energy individual.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple tasks.
• Be an effective communicator and passionate about working in a team environment.
• Be proficient in POS Systems; JONAS Clubhouse Software is considered an asset.
• Have flexible full-time availability; holiday, evening and weekend shifts are required.
• Have Smart Serve certification.
• Be able to work legally in Canada.
