As a Class A CDL Driver Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of grain products to valued customers.

- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Safely load and unload grain, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines and optimize fuel usage.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate trip records, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Assist with the loading and unloading process, including accurate counting and inspection of freight.
- Operate equipment such as liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed for deliveries.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and organized, performing routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe driving practices.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Uphold company standards and procedures related to driver safety, performance, and conduct.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- At least two years of experience as a CDL truck driver.
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
- Ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing paperwork and logs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members and customers.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy cargo as needed.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
- Commitment to safety and a professional, customer-oriented attitude.
- Farm experience is a plus.
