Blue Seal Farm & Home, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family of companies, is seeking a Seasonal Store & Warehouse Associate to support our team during the busy season at our Augusta, ME location. This is a full‑time, temporary opportunity that will require weekend availability. We also offer a generous employee discount as part of this opportunity.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist customers with product needs and answer questions
- Process customer purchases with the register system, stock the store, and load store customers
- Receive product orders, merchandise, and create vendor orders directly for the store
- Load and unload bagged feeds and related products for customers in the warehouse
- Operate a hand truck and a forklift safely, following all safety rules
- Receive, accurately load, and rotate product
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and loading areas
- Other duties as assigned by Store Management
- Must be able to lift 55 lb. to a height of 50 inches
- Solid work history
- Outstanding customer service skills are a must
- Able to work independently as well as with others under supervision
- Animal, retail, or agriculture experience preferred
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen
