Programmer — Jenkins, Docker & Power Shell

100% Onsite in Augusta, Maine
6+ month contract opportunity

• Groovy Jenkins Pipeline Scripting Language
• Docker
• Power Shell

• Analyze, design, code, and assemble testing for application code, and oversee documentation and deployment into production.
• Maintain code, provide production support, and develop enhancements.
• Collaborate with functional architects and technical architecture specialists to ensure design and code meet customer requirements.
• Schedule and monitor nightly jobs, handle status monitoring and recovery.
• Develop code enhancements, fix production problems, and perform unit and integration testing.
• Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs.
• Utilize configuration management, design tools, debugging tools, software code management tools, and other environment‑specific tools.
• Research problems before consulting with Team Lead or Functional Architect.
• Follow quality standards and support installation of application releases into production as directed.
• Communicate accurate status updates and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Analyze and design enhancements, development programs, and required fixes.
• Design applications to functional and technical programming standards.
• Conduct structured walk‑throughs and determine time estimates and schedules for work.
• Assist in managing and directing application team processes; coordinate work with other developers.
• Track issues, risks, and action items; develop contingency plans as necessary.
• Engage in ongoing process improvement and stay current with industry developments.
• Apply deep modeling, design, and coding skills; provide expertise in one or more database environments.
