MD is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. In this role, you will play an essential part in delivering high-quality patient care while benefiting from opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work environment. Your Impact
  • Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs. Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures.
  • Clinical Procedures: Perform blood draws and phlebotomy with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Manage airway support through treatments such as nebulizer therapy, oral suctioning, and placement of oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal airways, as well as administering oxygen therapy and using an AMBU bag for ventilation. Provide cardiac management by applying 12-lead ECGs, performing CPR in emergency situations, and utilizing an AED to deliver defibrillation when required.
  • Medication & Immunization Administration: Administer immunizations and medications according to protocols outlined in Convenient

    MD’s RN scope of practice, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Accurately process and call in prescriptions to the patient’s requested pharmacy in compliance with provider instructions.
  • Patient Communication & Follow-Up: Handle patient follow-up calls, addressing inquiries about their care plan, sharing and explaining test results, and discussing any changes in medication or therapy. Maintain clear and empathetic communication with patients throughout their care journey.
  • Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Communicate effectively with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates. Welcome and support the training of new team clinic members.
Required Availability
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and/or non-consecutive days. For full-time: three (3) 12-hour shifts per week with at least four (4) shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday. For part-time: two (2) 12-hour shifts per week with at least two (2) shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday. For per diem: four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, ideally one (1) shift per week.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other Convenient

    MD locations within a one-hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
  • Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one-hour commute.
Who You Are
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Certification and experience: State licensed RN with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs.
  • BLS certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. CPR, ACLS or online-only classes are not accepted.
  • Traits: Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused; proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal); trustworthy with confidentiality per HIPAA; effective cross-collaborator; excellent team player; technically savvy with MS Office and relevant healthcare systems (Experity or similar).
Bonus Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred.
