Interdisciplinary team: PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians
Job Duties
Admissions and discharges
Medication administration and treatments
Care for PICC lines, G-tubes, wound vacs (IV certification required for LPNs)
Management & Physician Support
DON / Charge Nurse / House Supervisor:
Clinical Specialist M-F, 8 hours; evenings handled by team lead
Physician availability after hours:
On-call
RT on-site 24/7:
No – nurses provide treatments
Pharmacy / Med dispensing:
Off-site
Shifts & Scheduling
Shift length: 12 hours (6:45–7:15)
Scheduling:
Manager assigns, attempts to honor traveler requests (short staffing may require flexibility)

Lime Green and Black (travelers must have at least some green visible)

Travelers skip day 1, attend days 2–3
Unit-specific orientation: 3 days
Night shifts: 1 day orientation during day shift, 2 days on nights
