Position: Travel Registered Nurse School Setting - Augusta, ME
A Registered Nurse with pediatric or school nursing experience is needed to provide dedicated healthcare support to a student in Augusta, Maine. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to work closely within a school setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of a student with specific medical needs.

Responsibilities include accompanying the student during school hours three days a week, from approximately 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. The student requires assistance starting at bus pickup and throughout the school day. The nurse will support the student as she walks with a helmet using a drop harness, maintaining close supervision due to her seizure condition and following an established seizure plan.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing settings
• Ability to manage and respond to seizure-related care needs
• Strong observational and communication skills for effective coordination with school personnel
• Ability to provide one-on-one healthcare supervision throughout the day

24 hours per week, three days a week
