We invite a skilled Occupational Medicine Physician to join a busy outpatient practice under Maines newest hospital a 192-bed regional medical center in this dynamic capital city just one hour from Portland. This physician-led nonprofit hospital is the Kennebec Valley's largest private employer and Maines third largest healthcare system, serving over 65,000 area residents, and committed to positively impact the health of the community through services and involvement.

Physicians with a background in primary care / urgent care are encouraged to apply those who are BE/BC in Occupational Medicine will receive priority attention.

You will join a thriving Workplace Health team, working alongside several fellow physicians and dedicated nurses and medical assistants, all of whom are enthusiastic about evidence-based occupational medicine. Enjoy a convenient weekday schedule with no call. You will perform commercial motor vehicle driver examinations, function as a medical review officer, and supporting various employee wellness and assistance programs. This team serves several State of Maine governmental organizations and includes consultation with, and surveillance of, State personnel.

This Occ Med team also covers five industry clinics, giving you exposure to a stimulating variety of work environments. Additionally, you will spend time in primary care and other clinics around south-central Maine, with convenient access to hospital resources with all the tools you will need for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
