Billing Coordinator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team in Augusta, Maine. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a background in billing processes. In this role, you will play a key part in managing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining efficient billing operations.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and issue accurate billing statements and invoices in a timely manner.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and manage billing data effectively.

- Edit and format documents using PDF editing tools to ensure proper documentation.

- Maintain and update billing systems to ensure seamless operations.

- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to support collection efforts.

- Generate detailed reports on billing activities for management review.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all billing tasks.

- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and recommend solutions. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.

- Experience with PDF editing tools to manage and modify documents.

- Familiarity with billing systems and processes.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.

- Excellent communication skills for resolving billing issues and collaborating with teams.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

- Knowledge of billing collection procedures and practices.

- Previous experience in a billing or similar administrative role preferred.
