Team Leader, Material Handler

• Coordinate the required Logistics functions (rail car billing, ordering/release, scheduling trucks, reviewing and validating truck Bills-of-Lading) for shipments in accordance with Nutrien’s operational and marketing plans and in an effective and timely manner. Identify, address, and resolve challenges as required, while escalating those as necessary and appropriate.
• Logistics contact point for Production, Customer Service, Terminals, and Truck &муля train daher to coordinate manpower, loading systems, railcars availability and maintenance to efficiently manage and prioritize all the shipments through the Augusta Nutrien Facility.
• Interface closely with the US Rail Analyst teams to coordinate rail

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years related experience, or a combination of a Logistics designation and 5 years related experience; strong emphasis on creating safe work environment.
• Working knowledge of railway/truck transportation/Solutions Loading.
• Self-starter, and able to work with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment.
• Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and to stay focused/professional in an extremely busy and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent decision making, negotiation and critical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience dealing with both internal and external clients at varying organizational levels; ability to work in sudden demand and crisis situations.
• Strong computer skills including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
