As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driving Patrol in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and telecommunications location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while representing Allied Universal.
  • Document observations, occurrences, and incidents as required by site‑specific procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as directed.
Minimum Requirements
  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
