Job Summary:

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols throughout a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to access control needs. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, interact with residents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access within the residential community.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns or provide assistance as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal management by following all post orders and instructions relevant to the residential location.
Minimum Requirements
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
