Responsibilities- Act as subject‑matter expert on quality assurance and safety compliance.
- Develop, maintain and revise assessment instruments to ensure compliance with organizational, contracting client and regulatory guidelines.
- Serve as liaison for interpretation of all compliance and accreditation policies.
- Develop and lead annual revision of a Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Lead ISO 9001:2015 compliance audits and accreditation.
- Design lessons, scenarios and exercises to train managers, supervisors and employees in quality principles.
- Create performance metrics addressing QA, customer satisfaction, quality rejections/reworks and observations.
- Oversee Root Cause Analysis program, Gap Analysis Audits and Quality Management System audits.
- Manage the site‑specific quality database.
- Ensure wenden rules, regulations and guidelines are communicated to impacted areas.
- Prepare reports for management on effectiveness of compliance areas.
- Recommend process improvements based on inspection results, data and customer requirements.
- Maintain a system for corrective action recording and reporting.
- Review formalized reports with assessment of the areas and recommendations for improvement.
- Meet with department managers to gauge compliance and provide expert interpretation.
- Conduct contract‑level operational reviews and audits, report non‑compliance findings and recommend corrective actions. Serve as liaison to the organization, contracting client and external parties ensuring timely response to inquiries.
- Lead quarterly quality improvement board.
- Assist in hiring supervisors and employees, including job fairs and interviews.
- Support and participate in the ESH program.
- Develop and execute project plans for quality initiatives.
- 10+ years as a quality control manager on a U.S. federal government service contract.
- 5+ years experience in the Intelligence Community of the Department of Energy supporting facilities operations and maintenance.
- 5+ years experience implementing ISO standards.
- 5+ years experience successfully implementing and annually revising a Quality Control Plan.
- Strong personal leadership, management and organization skills.

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Maintain sensitivity to, and report on, instances of fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to analyze site‑specific data from a computerized maintenance management system.
- Ability to prepare management, business, technical and personnel reports.
- Capable of making presentations to employees at all levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Top Secret with SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly.
- 5+ years experience in Environmental Safety and Health.
- Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
