An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in intensive care to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute clinical setting. This travel position offers the chance to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver individualized care that adheres to current clinical standards and evidence-based practice.

Location:

Augusta, GA - Experience living in a welcoming city known for its rich history, vibrant cultural scene, and beautiful riverfront. The area offers convenient amenities, entertainment, and outdoor activities, making it an enjoyable place to live and work.

Schedule/

Hours:
  • Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Varying days of the week
  • On call as needed
  • Minimum every other weekend
  • Minimum two major and two minor holidays
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based methods.
  • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to population-specific needs, respecting cultural diversity.
  • Coordinate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation while supporting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to enhance care quality.
  • Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development of nursing staff.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, safety goals, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Desired

Experience:
  • Associate degree or diploma in nursing required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current RN license in good standing (single-state or multi-state compact).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience with direct patient care in an ICU or critical care setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, emergency-response environment.
  • Proficient with technology to support clinical care and documentation.
