Overview

Job Title: RN – Outpatient Surgery

Rate: Up to $1850.00 weekly

Location: Augusta, GA

Day Shift (10H)

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
  • Need an RN operating room circulator with at least 1 year circulator experience in the intraoperative setting;
    Specialties include:
    Retina surgery, total hip/knees, Hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, Hernia repairs, Podiatry

Licenses/Certifications

  • Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring Vital Signs:
    Regularly check and record vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation to ensure patient stability.
  • Administering Medications:
    Provide prescribed medications and treatments as per doctor's orders, ensuring accurate dosing and administration.
  • Emergency Response:
    Respond quickly to life-threatening situations, including administering medications and initiating life support measures.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
    Work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and the patient's family to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress, which are essential for medical documentation and billing purposes.
  • Patient Advocacy:
    Advocate for the patient's needs and rights, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
