Job Details:

• Primarily circulating for cases in all surgical services including Level 1 trauma procedures

• Perform laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures, total joints and ortho trauma

• Assist with specialty neuro procedures including craniotomies

• Work with advanced equipment including lasers, endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment, and robotics

• Utilize electronic nursing documentation systems

• Cover 21 operating rooms with 1:1 nurse to patient ratio

• May work various shifts to meet staffing needs

• No floating to other departments - will remain in OR

• Call required

• 1-2 weeks orientation provided within the department

• Minimum 3 years OR experience required

• Experience in ortho, neuro, and especially craniotomy procedures required

• Academic facility experience preferred

• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required

• Previous travel experience preferred

• Required certifications:
Current Georgia RN license or Compact license, BLS (AHA)

• Must demonstrate computer skills for documentation

• Outstanding organizational and communication skills required

• Must speak, read and write English
