Location:
Augusta, GA

Night Shift (12H)

• Continuous Monitoring: monitor patients' heart rates and rhythms using specialized telemetry equipment, detect and respond to any abnormal readings or changes in a patient's condition.
• Patient Assessment: perform routine assessments of patients, including checking vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. This helps in identifying any potential complications early.
• Interpreting Data: analyze data from electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other monitoring devices to interpret cardiac rhythms and identify any irregularities that may require immediate medical attention.
• Administering Medications: administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care.

  Education:
  
  educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care, including lifestyle changes and medication management.
• Collaboration:
  
  work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Emergency Response: trained to respond quickly, which may include administering cardioversion or defibrillation for patients experiencing cardiac arrest or severe arrhythmias.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years clinic experience

Licenses/Certifications

• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS & NIH certification.
