Travel ER RN Job Details
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (Locum Tenens)
- Location: Augusta, Georgia 30901
- Healthcare Setting: 59-bed Emergency Department, Stroke and STEMI Certified
- Shift: Mid Shift, 3x12-Hour (13:00 - 01:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 7 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 - End: 12/1/2025)
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Charting System: Epic (required)
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Floating: Rare
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1610
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience (no first-time travelers)
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license
- Required
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS - Prior travel nursing experience
- Epic charting experience
- Preferred:
Charge nurse experience, community hospital background, Trauma Level I/II experience - Ability to work at least one major holiday during assignment
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed
- Provide high-quality clinical care to a diverse patient population in a busy emergency department
- Perform triage, assessment, and interventions for trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health cases
- Administer emergency medications and manage acute medical situations
- Document all patient care using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Work every other weekend and be available for holiday coverage
