• Healthcare Setting: 59-bed Emergency Department, Stroke and STEMI Certified
• Shift: Mid Shift, 3x12-Hour (13:00 - 01:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 7 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 - End: 12/1/2025)
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Charting System: Epic (required)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Floating: Rare
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1610

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience (no first-time travelers)
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Epic charting experience
• Preferred:
  Charge nurse experience, community hospital background, Trauma Level I/II experience
• Ability to work at least one major holiday during assignment
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to a diverse patient population in a busy emergency department
• Perform triage, assessment, and interventions for trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health cases
• Administer emergency medications and manage acute medical situations
• Document all patient care using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Work every other weekend and be available for holiday coverage
