Job Summary And Qualifications

The RN Manager Med Surg is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently provide quality care. What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing:
  Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
• Bachelor’s Degree Required;
  Master’s Degree preferred
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required
• 3-5 years leadership experience preferred (Charge, Coord., etc.)
