Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated NP or PA-C to join their Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Georgia. This position is ideal for a motivated provider with a passion for surgical care and at least one year of hands-on experience in the specialty. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to cardiothoracic patients in both surgical and clinical settings.

• Provide advanced care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic and cardiovascular procedures
• Assist surgeons in the operating room and during pre- and post-operative care
• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications within the scope of practice
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and long-term care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) in the state of Georgia (GA)
• One of the following active licenses/certifications in Georgia (GA):
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)

• Current BLS and ACLS certification

• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
