Job Opportunity – Operating Room Circulator RN – Georgia

Start Date: January 26, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Two alternating shift times (6:30am-3:00pm and 8:30am-5:00pm); 9-day rotating schedule working 5 days one week and 4 days the next, totaling 72 hours bi-weekly

Highlights:

• Diverse surgical case mix including retina surgery, total joint replacement, hand surgery, breast oncology and reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic procedures, hernia repairs, and podiatry
• 5 operating rooms with average daily census of 18 cases
• 1:4 nurse-to-room ratio in a well-established intraoperative environment
• Epic and Pyxis system experience; scrubs provided by facility
• No mandatory call or weekend requirements; occasional extended shifts based on room completion protocol
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year circulator experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience in the intraoperative setting
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Competency with operating room procedures including specimen handling, universal protocol/time out, laser and radiation safety, infection control, and wound management
• Experience with diverse surgical specialties across multiple patient populations (pediatrics through geriatrics)
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
• Full compliance documentation required;
  Flu vaccine mandatory (medical/religious exemptions only)
