Melting Operator

• Operate and maintain melting furnaces
• Perform material tests independently
• Transport and pour molten aluminum into the dosing furnace
• Adjust operational parameters within set tolerances and suggest permanent improvements
• Train new employees and monitor attendance
• Handle bulk and auxiliary materials
• Keep and compile logs and reports, such as melting reports
• Transport of aluminum in solid and molten form
• Perform maintenance on melting furnaces and other equipment and repair transport crucibles
• Conduct spark tests on material samples in accordance with regulations
• Document measures taken for troubleshooting and error correction
• Ensure productivity and quality standards are met during the shift
• Be responsible for SOS/Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities during the shift
• Facilitate cross-shift communication and maintain the shift log
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions and internal fire protection training

• Completed secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent)
• Forklift license / Crane operator license (floor‑controlled)
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in metallurgy, foundry work, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in operating melting furnaces and handling molten metals
• Experience in material testing and quality control
• Experience with maintenance of industrial equipment and adherence to safety procedures
