We're Hiring a Skilled Fabricator to Join Our Growing Team.

We're a 35+ year family-built truck dealership and upfitter serving fleets, municipalities, and independent operators across the Southeast. Our fabrication team is expanding, and we're looking for a Fabricator / Welder who can help us build high-quality custom bodies, accessories, and trailer upfits.

This is a full-time, steady-hours position with 9-hour days (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and every other Friday off - because we believe great work deserves real balance.

What You'll Do

• Fabricate and assemble truck bodies, trailer systems, and custom equipment to exact specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols accurately
• Perform high-quality GMAW and GTAW welding on aluminum and steel
• Use hand and power tools including drills, grinders, and saws
• Measure and verify accuracy using calipers, weld gauges, and tape measures
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet structural and visual standards
• Identify and correct defects, and document any rework as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and care for shop tools and equipment
• Collaborate with shop leads and management to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines

Requirements

What You Bring

• 1-2 years of welding or fabrication experience (truck/trailer experience preferred)
• Proficiency with GMAW and GTAW processes (aluminum & steel)
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and layout work
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Team-player mindset - dependable, positive, and respectful
• Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus
• Carpentry or body-building skills a big bonus
