This position is in southeast Houston near Hobby airport.
Responsibilities- Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
- Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
- Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Create labor records for all transactions.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local payroll.
- At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $22-24 per hour.
- Certified MIG Welder
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical ability.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
