Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician II will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventive, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the Company policies, goals, and objectives.
- Demonstrates a safety-first mindset and approach in execution of all duties
- Performs both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment from basic hydraulic and mechanical equipment to complex PLC-controlled machinery
- Replaces and repairs parts, rebuilds equipment, aligns gears, shafts, pulleys and belts
- Performs Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in team environment to determine root causes of failure
- Participates in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities
- Sets molds in injection molding machines with assistance
- Participates in a maintenance training program to improve knowledge, skills and abilities
- Develops skills in mechanical, electrical and HVAC field
- Utilizes CMMS system to manage work orders, create and review work history, and manage parts use
- Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
- Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, Green Wood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position

- Ability to work in seasonal temperatures that may be extreme at times including excessive heat or cold
- Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions
